J,
This all is starting to make some sense to me. After reading over lesson 2, I have many of my questions answered.
You confirmed what I experience on a daily basis. There were times when I needed protection, and I bought Lavender, and Ivy for outside my doors. Later I looked it up to see what they were for. I catch myself doing things that I have no idea why I am doing them, just do. After the fact I then later research it. I've always known that my spirit was in tune with my body. By doing these exercises do you think that I can finally understand what my spirit is doing before research?
I usually just go with the flow, since I trust my subconscious. I know that it understands things that this feeble human brain cannot begin to grasp. Like the feeling that you just know because it is. Early in my teen years as it was really waking up, the harder I fought to understand it the more it made little sense. Felt like I was loosing my mind, for I love logic, and in this matter I find little logic when I use my heart.
Again it happens when we are not trying. I tell my boyfriend who desperately wants to see things, that if you look too intense at things you will never see it. Like the shadows out of the corner of your eyes, look through it. Okay so that does not make a lick of sense, but this is the method I use to see things. I do not focus on the physical thing right in front of me, I look through it, in a way. Or look unfocused to see what is around me. Will not see it all the time, mostly how you described it to be. A change in energy. Sometimes it will be like the time I accidentally shocked myself on an electrical outlet, shoots straight up my arms deep in my bone. Other times it is just goose bumps.
Okay here is a weird question. What is it when you use breathing to clear the murky clouds in your visualization to break through? Something I tried some years back that seemed to work. I call on the four elements, and close my eyes, smoke appears, I blow and visualize the smoke leaving, opening a window. Only thing is that it is a very short window, not much time to really see anything, but a glimpse. Again something I do and really haven't a clue as to why. Is this another form of meditation? And is there a way to extend time?
Thanks in advance

J: Well, the spirit attunement will come a little quicker for sure. It is all about opening yourself to understand self and the spirit realms.
I usually just go with the flow, since I trust my subconscious. I know that it understands things that this feeble human brain cannot begin to grasp. J: Try some simple psychic, energy exercises with your boyfriend. He has to be willing to use all his senses - men tend to use only the logic - and then trust the instincts that open. Take a piece of fruit and examine with your eyes, ears, nose, hands. Then close your eyes and go over it again, this time also using the tongue. (At the end eat the fruit - it will be so much sweeter for the examination). See what comes to mind in this exercise. Make sure you are both taking it seriously, of course.

J: We can do visualization exercises that actually turn into meditation. And you have found the secret - trust your own methods - they are meant for you. Anything else suggested is merely an exercise to help you with your own instrument - body, mind, spirit - to attune to spirit realms. Time is frequently suspended, to say the least, when meditation takes place. I am not sure how to work on time.
Thanks in advance |

| i was reading over lesson two, and noticed the phrase "repeat your affirmation." i know generally what affirmations are, but are they something that we are supposed to create ourselves, is there a general list of affirmations, or affirmations that are appropriate for certain situations? clearly, i'm a little confused. any help would be appreciated. |
Affirmations are little verses that tend to resonate with our mind so that they soothe situations as well as stimulate thoughts to spirituality. Many people find it in poetry. I have a hymn that seems to resonate for me. Try what works for you.
Flow spirit flow, and all my fears release
I am a channel for your love and peace
Heal spirit heal, and all myself renew
I am expressing my perfection true
There are situations where an affirmative thought can work well - health is one of those issues.
