I'm pretty new to meditation, so i've been doing a begginers meditation...just basically realxing my muscles first to make sure i'm completely relaxed. Then I go to what I call my "special place". Anyways yesturday I was meditating and I started to realize I couldn't really feel my body. Then I started feeling like my body was sinking..its hard to explain but i've explained it as best I could. Did I experience this because I was to relaxed or did I do something wrong? Does anyone know why this happened?

from what you describe, it seems like you body started to feel heavier (in order to sink)... that would indicate you were getting a good dose of grounding. Never anything wrong with that imo.

When meditating you can start to feel all sort of sensations. It cannot be called doing something wrong, but usually denotes a change of energy level that you acquired by meditating. I would say just enjoy and experience it

Well cool! I am glad to hear I wasn't doing it wrong lol. It kinda freaked me out at first because i've never felt like that before. But I slightly moved my finger and then realized I was fine. But ne ways thank you for taking the time to read and write me back. I really appreciate it.

Take care when tryong anything new, when first experiencing the lower levels of meditation we can feel almost seasick, as nausea sets in  because our mind is not in the same harmony as our ears and equilibrium seems to shift. Nothing to worry about, try touching the ground when you med next, thats why mamny people are seen cross legged one finger of each hand on the ground

Well I didn't get nauseated or ne thing like that. I just felt like I was sinking down. I do however have probs w/ my equalibrium but the things I've experienced w/ that problem was'nt like the sinking I felt in meditation. I have yet to feel it again...its weird it only happened that one time. And lately when I've been meditating I "forget" about my body and can't feel it, which is another thing I felt when sinking in that med.session. I wonder if mayb I was accidently trying to astral project, becuz I did feel like I was separating from my physical body.
