Is it Normal that you cry during Meditations ?

I was Meditating a hour ago during my meditations state i saw this lovely Sky Blue light in front of me the more it was coming at me more the i start to cry , When the blue light stop at the tip of my nose i begin to cry harder but my nose was dry , My shirt was wet but my nose was still high and dry .

What does this mean ?

I found tears flowing during meditation. i didn't call it cry. I asked about it to elders. And reply was "After sometime tears will not flow during meditation. It is sign of progress."
May be [color=cyan]DattaSwami[/color] and other senior members answer well.
I have to say,Pl ,Don't pay much attention on cry or tear;Pl pay attention on purpose of your meditation and the goal of it."

Dear Friend,

When you meditate and you reach Alpha Level you feel at peace totally. Do you feel like that? Do you feel calm and cool and differently than when you are wide awake and working? If so then whether you cry or not is no problem. Normally one cries by relieving the load on your mind and heart. We are washing away our guilt and this is a good sign.
