Hi All Who Know from One Who Has No Clue.
So i was told to find a site and this seems to be the one.  I do know i am meditating but had no clue till now.  It happens when I awake, my eyes stay closed I see the white dot that opens and floods of pictures, doves, butterflies, carousels... come flying out.  i ask them to slow and they do a little but i can not make them out.  I guess i want to learn because it is no longer giving me the choice.  Make sense to anyone? Help, confused but excited.

Hi! You are feeding these images when you try to eliminate them. The idea is to let all thoughts and images do there thing while you simply focus on your mantra, or whatever centering device you are using. A mantra is used to override the existing program you have. Just stay focused on the mantra and nothing else. Let all other images and thoughts and feelings of great bliss pass on through you without clinging, nor rejecting, Just stay focused. Good Luck

Hi! A Mantra is a word, or a set of words that are either said out loud, or said mentally. Take for example this Sanskrit Mantra--Tut Sut Om, you would repeat this mantra out loud for 5 to 7 times, or till you feel comfortable. At the point of comfort you do a higher form by repeating the mantra mentally but at the same time you are hearing it as if you were saying it but in mind only. After you have become good at it you will notice that it's like a wheel and after a while it goes on it's own. You simply focus on the mantra and nothing else. While doing your mantra don't try to think of the meaning of your mantra. Peace

Thanks Stan as you can see i truly am a novice.  I've been reading other forums and saw they recommend the book "Tara Ward's Develop your Psychic Powers" it sounds like a good start.  AND, i shall also learn how to use Mystic Board and where to post my thoughts and questions.  Very interesting here
