In this transformation one thing must go and that is the ruler of how much progress we think we have made.

In Meditation:
Ours is not to judge how much we have progressed,
There is no looking back in this spiritual journey except inorder to refine our methods, through experiences.
Just enjoy the journey...........the desitnation will come on its own, in due course.

Hi Stan.......you are absolutely right when you stated “Which is better? That is dependant on the seekers stage of development.’
During the initial stages of spiritual evolvement it is very important that the seeker tunes and increases his power of discern and discrimination. This can only be done when there is proper and sincere soul searching or introspection. This introspection cannot be initiated without the tool known as meditation. During the initial stages of meditation thoughts flow and the meditator starts to automatically use his power of discrimination with the help of his inner sprit/self. As you are well aware this process refines him in thoughts, words and deeds which in turn helps him to evolve.
Also in the case of advanced seekers, who are somewhat actively involved in this mudane world, constant intorspection is highly essential, for which he need not make efforts, for it will occur naturally.
Hence I said we should listen more….
HAPPY NEW YEAR
