Self Realization.
A big and heavy word. I would try to write what I know about it from Sahaja Yoga perspective. Self Realization as the word suggests is knowing the self. Who is the self? Its not body, mind, intellect, ego or the conditionings, it is the eternal Spirit, the one who resides in the heart. The source of love and joy. Spirit is the one who enjoys and gives joy. If the spirit is enlightened and it is in your attention then you get all the joy that you can get from spirit. You enjoy what spirit enjoys and reject all that is against your spirit. Spirit is the reflection of Divine within you, thus your body is temple of God. How can we do things, which insult our spirit, when God is in your heart how can we do bad things, which we won't do in Temple or Church or Mosque? How would we know what is against our spirit and what would give joy to our spirit?
After Self Realization you get the vibratory awareness, your hands start speaking, that is you get the vibrations on your hands. Vibrations are cool or warm breeze on your palm. If something is against the spirit you get a warm or a tingling sensation on you hand. If something is good you get cool breeze on your hand. It is because the kundalini energy itself is a cool energy.
Once it is awakened it gives you connection with the whole pervading power, which created us. Then your spirit comes into your attention and you get the vibratory awareness. Through these vibrations not only you know what is wrong with you but also you have power to correct yourself. Thus by introspection and meditation you can strengthen your realization and connection with the Divine power and enjoying yourself more and more each day.
