MB Learn Tarot Software is an educational tool for learning
the basics of tarot card reading. This program is extremely simple and
very useful for beginners who want to learn to read the Rider Waite
Deck. The program also includes a Goal Reminder which helps the user set
goals that he intends to achieve and keep reminding him about them.
Tarot cards have been used for fortune telling for ages and have
remained popular ever since. Experts use this divination tool to read
for people and help them solve the problems that they face as well as
find solutions for their various issues.
The program can be used to memorize different meanings and keywords of
the different cards as well as test the user’s knowledge. As newer and
more sophisticated decks are being designed, it is very difficult for a
novice to understand the basics unless guided in the right direction.
Only then can one develop a keen interest and improve his intuitive
skills.
MB Learn Tarot Software uses the Ride Waite Deck, as this is the
deck preferred by most beginners. The images are clear and easy to
understand. The meanings and keywords are also precise and to the point.
MB Learn Tarot Software is divided into four sections:
Section I: My Personal Goals – Goal Reminder
This part allows the user to set and edit goals that need to be
achieved. The user can set new goals, view them, delete them, mark them
as achieved when it has been done. For each goal, the user is asked to
enter the name, description, starting and ending dates. The number of
days for the goal to be achieved and the remaining days from the current
day are also displayed. The goals can be saved for future reference.
Section II: Test Set Up
The user can set up his learning and testing preferences here.
MB Learn Tarot Software includes flashcards for the following
suits:
Major Arcana
Minor Arcana
Cups
Wands
Swords
Pentacles
Reversed
The user can choose specific categories for learning purposes.
The level of difficulty at time of taking a test can be set to Beginner,
Intermediate and Advanced.
The user can also choose the type of test that he wants to take which
can be based on Description or Keywords
Section III: Memorize Cards
This section helps the user memorize the symbolic description or
keywords of the cards chosen. The meanings of the cards are displayed
one by one with the images of the cards. This helps the user associate
the image with the particular meanings or set of keywords.
Section IV: Take Test & Results
The test section displays a card with three sets of meanings or a
set of keywords (whichever option is chosen). The user has to choose the
right answer for the same. The results are displayed based on the right
and wrong answers.
