How to Recall Dreams
Here are a few tips that will help you tune your body and help you
recall your dreams:
• Abstain from alcohol, drugs and medications before sleeping
• Relax yourself mentally before going to sleep. Take a refreshing hot
water bath if it helps, or meditating, listening to music.
• Go to sleep early so that your sleep cycle isn’t interrupted.
• Make a list if things you would like to dream about before going to
sleep, but do not concentrate too hard.
• Wake up on you own. Avoid using an alarm to jerk you awake suddenly
from your sleep.
• Record your dream the moment you wake up. You need to write down key
factors of your dream like the main person, feeling, location, and
relation to your real life.
• If you wake up in the middle of the night, record your dream
immediately. You ca jot down words, phrases in the beginning and then
progress to complete meanings.
• Drawing pictures of what you dream is also a very good option.
• Eat healthy. A well-balanced and nutritious diet is essential to
recall dreams.
