What Are Biorhythm Cycles
Biorhythms are cycles
which represent the physical, emotional and intellectual cycles in our
lives. They show the periods of ups and downs in our mood swings with
relation to various aspects.
The three biorhythm cycles are physical, emotional and intellectual.
Each of these cycles starts at the time of birth. Each cycle starts from
zero level and goes into active phase. It again comes back to zero level
and goes into passive phase. Then again the cycle comes back to zero
level and starts all over again.
Each time a cycle passes through zero level, while going from an active
phase to passive phase it is called as "critical state" meaning the
cycle is unstable.
Each time a cycle passes through the zero level, while going from the
passive to active state it is called as zero state meaning the cycle has
no effect on the person.
The Three primary biorhythm cycles are:
Physical: This cycle originates in the muscle tissues or fibers.
This is dominant in men. In active phase, a person is physically
charged. It represents strength, endurance, resistance, metabolism, sex
drive, stamina and recovery form illness.
Emotional: This cycle is more dominant in women. This governs the
nervous system. It controls feelings, creativity, passion, emotions and
sensitivity.
Intellectual: This cycle originates in the brain cells. This
regulates a person’s decision making and judgmental powers, memory,
logic and intelligence.
