I was reading the Compass by Joseph Ernest Martin.

He has a chapter on games you can play with the tarot cards. One is called the who am I game. He states that this game is a great way to learn the cards with a group of people.

IN order to make it web based I made justr a tiny modifications. (i dont want to take credit for his ideas).

To play one person draws a card and decribes and talks about who he or she is, but you cant say the name of the card or what suit it is.

Oh it also has to be a court or Major aracna card that you choose.

People then try to figure out who you are like charades.

The autjor menetions forming teams and taking score. I think that might bwe a little complicated but if anyone wants to try it with or without scores Im game.

The second game is the Story CIrcle game. Each participant choses a card at random, then begins telling a story based on it. Then the next person draws a card and contiunes with the story based on the card they drew, and so on.

I think this would be an interesting game.

another suggestion must be:

The questioner PM Samantha the card he/she has choosen.
Then post the question (description)
It is given a timelimit for 1 or 2 days to answer. (so all can attend)
All student post what they believe the card is the and why (a short discription)
When timelimit is over, the questioner reveal the card and challange next student.

I take your challange and will start.

I think the best way to proceed is to make two threads.

1 we might call "Who am I"
(rememebr all student post what they believe the card is)
The card is from Major Arcana and Court cards, not from comon folks )
and the other "follow the story"
(here the story goes on by challange a fellow student to draw next card, don't let it be you who stop the story )

We use this thread to new suggestions for activitys.

It's important for all to partisipate, this will create life and it will be more fun to pay a visit to the site, and you learn something dooing it
(It's a grown up kinder egg )
