So just by reading this post you have taken the first step towards learning more about reading Tarot Cards I know that many think that Tarot cards have a dark history and a sinister, scary feel to them but that really isn't true.

Have you ever wondered how on earth someone can ever learn the meanings and remember them off by heart in a flash as they turn them over and explain them to you?  I'll tell you a secret........

Secret 1 - You don't need to remember the meanings of all the cards!
Many read tarot from their hearts instinctivley and intuitively, and thats the way I am teaching in the Mystic Board Tarot Class of 2007.

We are working through all of the card individually and in groups so that links and differences and comparisions are obvious and triggered by the picture on the cards.

Secret 2
- There are many meanings for the cards.
A different deck but the same card will illicit a different meaning. It all depends on the symbolism and structure of the card. Obviously to most people The Sun, means happiness and sunny days, joy and bright things? That is a warm happy card.

The Moon on the other hand might be cooler and darker and chillier in the damp night air? A time when things appear in the twilight and shadowy night creatures come out as we dream and sleep and rest. Not such a sunny warm card but still not that bad?

See? You already are grasping two cards meanings

Easy isn't it?
