Hello to all, my name is Michael Vissicchio, and I have been studying the accult since the age of 14. (now aged 28) The first great book I read on the subject was Modern Magick by Donald Michael Kraig. Amazing amount of information presented in a very easy to read way.. It's not very often that I come across a book on the occult that moves me a lot, but recently I came across one... the name is "The Practice of Palmistry" and to me it was obvious that this book was published a long time ago. Pages are slightly yellowed from age of the book, also the paper is slightly frayed. The book had an "aura" of something that has been sitting around for a long time, undisturbed, akin to a pile of newspapers you would find in an old attic..  The way that the chapters are worded are of a dialect that is obviously long past. I've encountered at least 10 terms that I've never seen before in my reading adventures, which have been quite extensive. (I am currently unemployed, and use my free time to study on my computer.. I must read thousands of words a day... ) Anyways.. it feels great to be re-inspired by the discovery of a very special piece of history! =) I am also a musician, my first instrument was the piano, which I started playing around the age of 7. At around my 7th grade year in middle school I picked up the electric guitar and have never put it down! hehe. In terms of "official" schooling, I am an A+ Certified Computer technician.. but I only acquired that certificate to please my parents and the people around me... basically to show that I could be a "normal" person lol. The education that I have provided myself with is to me priceless, and much harder to complete than it is to acquire a certificate from a large bricked buliding. My mother is psychic (not practicing, but she is definitely a medium), as is my sister who is also a medium, and my mother's cousin is very psychic and has realized it, and embraced it. She is a nurse and a lawyer, and her relatives are very well-known across our country. (I will leave out names for obvious reasons...)
Anyways, I think that's enough of an intro for now!! If you've actually read this far, then I would say that you have a lot in common with me!! =) I look forward to contributing to your community, and sharing my knowledge with anyone that has a willing and open ear. Thank you!
