My name is Brian.  My journey through life has been a slow one.  I find myself wondering what the next challenge is.  What lies around the next corner. Does everyone feel like this?

I am thirty nine.  Although I have done many things there seems to be something missing.  Maybe it is a spiritual avenue maybe it is a no clear destiny.

I guess the problem stems from the fact that I spend alot of time on my own.  I had a viral infection when I was ten which damaged sight hearing and balance.  

I am not complaining ...it is just the way the cookie crumbles....someone once said to me that I chose this life.  The soul has chosen this body.

I believe every step is a step towards something even if the knowledge of that something is not so clear.

I have two amazing children....unfortunately....I am separated as of four or so years ago.  I know one of my goals is being here for my children.

The other part is unclear....

I know that if I had a job I would have a purpose...however due to my sight and hearing a regular job is out of the question.

I keep trying and keep hoping for some direction.  I have a belief that it will happen but would appreciate any insight or comments or suggestions.

The world of the psychic is very new to me....I do not claim any strong abilities...however I have had many lucky experiences and many inuitive guesses....and at times feel very intune with the world around me.

What now...?

Something in your post moved me to replie.

I can relate to that phrase..."now what?"  Seems that I have been asking this myself more and more.  Please do not belittle your growth, maybe for you it seems slow. Perhaps it is just as it should be.

Curious to know why you feel like you have an avenue missing, no clear destiny.  I get that from time to time.  Your not alone in that department. These are the times I shut down and turn inward. Shedding what environment, ego, and other factors that I have within. Stumbling around in the dark, sitting on the p-pot as my fiance says.  I find that light of hope once more and return.

What works for you?  

Sometimes when we feel lost is when we find ourselves.  Perhaps we feel that there is no written destiny because we are still writing it as we go.

Just a thought.  Have you thought about volenteering in an area where you're experience might benifit younger ones?  This might help you feel empowered again.  Perhaps those just starting that journey with the damage of sight and hearing.  Seeing that you can live productive lives, bringing hope in what seems to be hopeless.

Thank you for your beautiful reply.  A friend of mine once said that no matter how you wish there will never be someone who understands you.  Yet your words go a long way to disprove this idea.

There were tears in my eyes as I read youd your words.  I too withdraw inside myself and stumble around in the corridors of my own thought.  I refer to it as falling off the planet.  I shut down and crawl inside.  Then as you said the sunshines and I am out there exploring the edges of the horizon....the depths of the blue sky and the ocean swell.

I have thought about volunteering my skills as a massage therapist.  I used to practice but when my relationship went down so too did the massage clinic.  I am not entirely certain how to go about volunteering this service but I believe it is on the cards....

Maybe tyou are right ...we write our own destiny as we go along....some people it would seem have their destiny mapped out for them while others flounder to write it day by day second by second...heart beat   by heart beat....

I know sometimes I think too much.....
