This is probably the one topic I like the least. I have kind of a different way of looking at things sometimes. I downplay my own "abilities", and simply tell people with their "gut", or what they feel inside. I have been down a lot of roads, that all lead back to the same truth. Religion is a farce, your own relationship with God is what's important. And recognizing that every person has gifts is very important. For those who are unsure as to whether they are part of the light, from what I have seen in this group, there is nothing but light here. In my lifetime, I have been a Mormon Missionary, a Jehovah's Witness Missionary, a Catholic Priest, and the Neutral in the Circle of Seven. In all of this, I have learned that Religion is a man made concept for something which is beyond man's ability to comprehend. I choose not to take sides, but to mediate for those in opposition. Our current situation, as you all know, has made this difficult for me at times. Once upon a time, when I worked for our wonderful Government, even though the core of what is me was always there, what I did was not part of that. But just as good people make bad choices, also it does not make a bad man because he did bad things. I keep my word, no matter what the cost. I guess that could be considered a downfall by some. I choose the name "catman" for several reasons. I was born with the same number of vertebre as a cat (minus the tail), and when they pulled four teeth to put on my braces as a kid, I still have the "human" number of teeth. Under the birth sign of the Cherokee, and Lakota Sioux, which are my grandmothers, I was born under the sign of the great cat. And a few other oddities about me that make people tend to associate me with cats. In all of my travels I have learned that there are things in this world which cannot be explained with science or logic. And people are blessed by their creator with gifts and abilities that they often times don't understand. But as long as you look at the tragedies in your life as opportunities, and the abilities as gifts, not curses, the path will be, perhaps not easier, but more clearly seen. Pamela often asks my input in some of the things that are discussed or requested here, and I always add my prayers to any in need. And I will never give some esoteric reply that could be read a hundred ways. Just as I don't break promises, I won't give advice, unless I am sure it is sound advice to give. Although I am a Pastor of (sic) Christianity, which includes God and Jesus, I do not follow the hypocracy of organized religion, and recognize that there are things that existed well before the Bible was written. I have studied Babylonian, Sumarian, and Egyptian text, among others, that doesn't refute the Bible at all, but it follows a different path. As a Priest, I was given access to books and scrolls which would shake the foundation of most modern religions. But the simple truth, is what your beliefs, and your faiths are, are yours. No one makes those choices for you (unless David Koresh is your Pastor) LOL. I apologize that this is so long winded, and seemed so serious. I do laugh sometimes, contrary to popular belief. But Since Pamela did allow me a few minutes on my computer, I wanted to make the best of it, and tell you a few things about myself. Although even my family thinks I'm a little bit wierd, I am a pretty average guy. And in this group, I do not feel out of place. My Dad always said that the sane people in a crazy world will be the ones with labels put on them. So when someone tries to label you as odd, wierd, out there, or crazy, just remember that very sage observation. Believe in yourself, and your relationship with God, the Creator, the Great Spirit, or whatever you choose to call your truth. Thank you for allowing me the privilage of joining your group, and once again being part of a circle that taps into the "force" that surrounds all living things. Kind of like Starwars, only without Yoda.LOL. God Bless
