Im here for a reading, but from all the nice sections you have here something tells me im gonna be here pretty often. I believe in psychics because I have had many OBE's, astral projecting, lucid dreaming and such. Ever since my first OBE, my life changed forever. I always envisioned before that that when u die, thats it, lights out for eternity. But that sincerely isnt the case. My teacher out of all people, mentioned astral projection in class when a student asked if he believed in the after life. His description of astral projection entrigued me so much I decided to look it up even though I was sceptical, because I knew that my teacher was a good person and wouldnt rant on making things up. When I first attempted to project I got these absolute intense vibrations, so much so that I was scared. I knew it was DEFINATELY out of the ordinary. I kept reading and studying and the more you study the more you gain chaances to become aware that you are dreaming and become conscious in the astral. I still have much to learn for astral travel, but it has opened many doors in life for me and made me feel better about myself and my future. Anyways, didnt mean to write that much im just possesed today haha. astral projecting... what exactly is it and its purpose? I've hear alot of talk about it but never could get a clear answer. and i was wondering what your OBE were like.

Hi Kaitlin! Im more than happy to answer your question. Astral Projecting is when you seperate your soul(consciousness) from your body. It can be done by getting your body to a complete relaxed state, while you keep your mind awake. While Ive had many OBEs, its hard for me to stay conscious without me falling into a dream. Practicing awareness during the day helps you last longer in the astral plane, because you wont get sucked into a dream as easily from your egos. OBEs can also occur when you become aware that you are dreaming during a dream, which is how I get most of my OBEs. They are experiences so great they cannot be descibed in words, one must experience it themself. ANYBODY, can astral project. Look at the site gnosticweb.com, and astralvoyage.com. That sounds really awesome. I'll definatly will have to try that. I was wondering about something. I think i might have had an OBE. I got really worried about one of my friends and kinda zoned out. I all of a sudden got like a snap shot of what was going on and could tell where he was, what he was doing, even to the point i could see what page of what book he was reading and what notes he was taking. Now, I called him imediately afterwards and it was exactly what he was doing to the T. Now, it wasnt but a snap shot of the situation. Is that concidered something like an OBE or a brief astral projection?

What you are referring to is not an OBE, buts its called Remote Viewing. Its something that I find to be much more difficult to learn than astral proj. but everyones different, with remote viewing you can see present people and places. Im sure many psychics can do it. I even heard stories of the government using it during the cold war to spy on enemies.
