Hi everybody. I love forums; they are great for seeing yourself in others and getting to know your Self once you get over having your own paradigms shattered by others more knowledgeable than yourself. I hope to find someone like that here.

My name is Todd and I'm from Ireland, but I now live in Canada. So far my life has been rooted in Catholicism (I'm from the Republic) which turned into Gnosticism, Celtic tradition (mummering is alive and well), and Romany 'superstition' practices (my mother is Rom). In North America, I've been adopted into the Oji-Cree by way of marriage (sister married an anishanabe) and I'm going through a traditional initiation which I have chosen over my Golden Dawn 3rd degree (I don't like politics in my spirituality). And although I'm still interested in the Hermetic Alchemy and Thelema, the indigenous ways are much more genuine and important to who I am, especially me being a two-spirited type. After all, mysticism is about integration and we're all just one big dysfunctional family: hence "brother Minos" just because I'm your brother doesn't mean I'm always going to be wishy washy and saccharine; I don't give new age fluff bunnies much patience; but I do care about your spiritual development as much as mine. I'll tell you what I've learned through academic life, apprenticeship, and experience without any fantasy to make it sound more impressive. I just want to share and help us all get closer to a collective awareness minus as much crap as possible.

And who do I gotta cyber-love to get an avatar? (ready and willing!)

Hi I love the way you came in there full of enfusiasm, you feel so happy with your self a real bubbly person / welcome there's a lot of different spiritual practices there. Ive read a bit about a few different practices but prefer my own, which is to take the best bits from each P.S. I cant wait to read your input to the Forum

Greetings to you Brother Minos....

Be careful for what you ask for...you might just get it.....(sticks her tongue out...LOL)

All I can say at this point is:

No one is better than another....only different...and therefore equally valuable as a scholar and a teacher...and fluff bunnies are necessary too, just to remind us of our softer selves.  Never mistake kindness for weakness...nor ignorance for stupidity...

love and rainbows

I'm not prone to the first mistake, but the latter I'm probably guilty of at times. So thank you for the reminder.
I'll fully admit to my ignorance to things (such as sports and what's going on in soap operas) so won't offer any advice on those topics; I've chosen to be ignorant of those things. Stupid is such an ugly word, I don't think I'll use it as a noun; nobody is stupid since there's different kinds of intelligences, and we do stupid things sometimes, and  it doesn't exactly make us stupid people, so I hear ya, m'lady.

And in regards to fluff, I'll try to look at this as the cuteness it really is; I probably have some fluff as well- a more Bunnicula variety.
