I have been a Jungian (Swiss Psychiatrist, Carl G. Jung) since 1965 and an astrologist as a result of this study. I was originally put off by Jung's description of synchronicity (in 1965-1966) as I was an electronic technician and firmly grounded in technical process, cause-effect science and technique. For an assignment in psychology I elected to study the subject with the purpose of exposing astrology as a sham. The more I studied and the more I practiced doing charts for relatives, friends, and acquaintances, the more I became convinced of its scientific validity. Even Jung acknowledged the usefulness of the Mother Science in his work. He also used the subject to understand relationships as well as individuals.

My studies have been almost exclusively on the humanistic side of astrology and I am a student (a reader) of Marc Edmund Jones, John Davidson, Dane Rhudyar, and Michael Meyer. I have to acknowledge the fact that the person, defined via astrology technique is linked to the event but I prefer to stick to the human side of the equation. I use the Campanus House system and computer generated chart construction. When I first studied astrology I used a Texas Instrument standard calculator and later a programmable calculator to construct charts. The process required one to two hours.
