... i think i was depressed most of my teenage years ... for many it may be normal ... life just is not what we think it should be ... remember you're not alone, many, many people have experienced what you are feeling, so keep on laughing, sometimes that's all you have even if you are laughing all alone ... some people cannot understand the humor in life as you see it ... that's THEIR problem, not your's!  i'm new here too ... i have permanently put on rose colored glasses so that i do not get depressed any longer ... but then again, i no longer have to listen to my mom and dad either ... so, there you have it.

Hey you guyz thnx for the advice. Ive just been going through a hard time lately.Does anyone have some advice for me on how to not be nervous around the guy that you like, but that your best freind is dating?If you do, plz,plz tell me, cause im desperate, and i dont want to do something that would ruin the relationship with my best (and ONLY!!!) friend. I used to be really "popular" and like 3/4 of our grade, and half the sixth and seventh grade were all my friends, but i fell out of touch with the 6th and 7th grade friends i had, then i started loosing all my other friends because i was focusing all my attenetion on one group of friends, then i stopped hangign out with that group, because they were trying to kill our vice principal, and i didnt like it, so when i stopped hanging out with them, the only friend that i had left, was Kiki.so, anyone with any advice for me, plz, you know where to find me(and it doesnt even have to be advice on this situation, you can give me advice on any subject, and if you want i can give you some advice, so yeah.)

I'm new here but my take on you? You strike me as very unique and unafraid to be true to yourself - which is rare and beautiful as well as isolating and somewhat depressing. You're the kind of person who walks to their own beat. You'll probably never fit in. You will however adjust. I say this because my gifted/bipolar daughter is such an awesome individual too. Only you would know if depression is a problem for you. Run -don't walk-to your doctor if it is. Depression can be devastating for you and everyone who cares about you. Enough Granny talk. Stay silly, girl. There's too many stuffy grown ups out there.
