Hi, I'm new here, not sure whether I should be here. OK the problem is, I only half believe in the mystical powers, the same as i half believe i have powers of my own. I need definitive proof, before i will believe in anything. Here is part of my story.
About 5-6 years ago while living in Devon U.K. my family and i use to go go to the beach most weekends. and any one out there who know Britain the weather is something you can never guarantee. so we would get to the beach some days and find it overcast. one day my youngest daughter who was 6-7 at the time said "If you are god make the sun shine" (when asked questions by my kids some times, when i gave the answer i would be asked "how do you know"so i used to tease "I'm god i know every thing")
"OK" i said and lay back on the sand "i'll concentrate on it", so i closed my eyes and imagined the sun burning a hole though the clouds and the clouds dissipating, i did that for a minute then just stay there relaxed after working late the night before. after about 15 20 minutes i felt the sun shining on my face i sat up, to see the sun shining brightly and it stayed that way all day.
This impressed my daughters immensely so the next time we went to the beach and it was cloudy she asked again "concentrate dad, make the sun shine" so i went though the same prosedur again, and again the sun came out, this happened a number of times in varying levels from sunshine all day to a glimpse of the sun then cloud all day.
I would like to believe i had a hand in the sun coming out but can't honestly believe that i just put it down to coincidence. but the is that bit in the back of my mind that says it couldn't happen like that so many times.
So over to you, what do you think, coincidence or not?
