I am a big fan of The Secret. It explains in words that are easy for me to understand, what I have known all along. Call it magick, the power within, Diety, or whatever, It is in, through, around and for us. The major keys to using this Power are positive emotions. Happiness, joy, glee, thanksgiving, etc. Bring your thoughts into the NOW to create more abundantly. When we "hope" for better we stay in the place of alwayse hoping. Our desires remain unfullfilled. But to KNOW that here and now I AM in abundance, surrounded by and expressing LOVE, regardless of outward appearances, is to more rapidly attract that good that we all worthy of.
I am an Eclectic Wiccan. If I could instill anything into the minds of those I care about most (and at the moment that's YOU), I would encourage more laughter, more joy, more praise for yourselves, your fellows and your Diety. Get rid of labels that pigeon-hole you. Delete words like "can't, but, if, won't, etc". Replace them with "I AM, it is, etc". Be in the now. Claim your birthrite today.
Easier said than done? At first, perhaps. That's why it's calld "spiritual practice", not "spiritual perfection".
Speaking of which, the ancient Greeks used to make clay vases. Once they were done, they were held up to the light to check for cracks or potential leaks. If they could hold water, they were stamped on the bottom with the original form of the word "perfect". The original meaning of the word "perfect" is the ability to hold water. In a spiritual sense that means the ability to learn and to grow. It mattered not that the vase was crooked or missing a spout. All of have the ability to learn and to grow, to hold water. We are all Perfect. That's why the Christian Bible says, "Be thou perfect". It's not a commandment. It's a statement of fact. Do you use your perfection? Are you open to learning and to growth?
So, the next time someone asks how you're doing, say, "Perfect!" and KNOW your own indwelling Divinity can be nothing less.
Thank you for listening.
Namaste!
