i regard this matter in the other way round.

tiny students are advised, 'Don't lie.' they will fell curious. what happens if I lie?

had they been advised, 'speak what you know, think and feel.' the concept of lie wouldn't have emerged perhaps.

something i would take into consideration when talking to me nephews and later on my kids.
