No matter what situation you are in, always be thankful for what you've got and this can instantly be a happy booster. Always have gratitude.

Be thankful for having:

Food to eat
Water to drink
A home to live in
A bed to sleep comfortably on
The beautiful parks
The amazing movies to watch
The magnificant music to listen to
A loving and caring family
Friends (you don't have to have many to have a great social life)
The capacity to learn
The oppurtunities to improve your life
Health
Books to read
The buses and trains to travel efficiently
The schooling to broaden your intellect

Think of anything! You have got everything and it doesn't cost much either.
