after becoming pregnant the first time i ever had sex at age 18 i had a very difficult pregnancy ending in a forced induction due to severe toxemia. my first daughter was 3 weeks early & she and i were in the hospital for a while. after which i had 2 miscarriages and an ectopic pregnancy causing me to lose an ovary & tube & being told i would never be able to conceive again. after having my uncle (in training as an aid to a medicine man in the c&a peyote cult) run a sweat loge & heal me i became healthier. 3 1/2 years ago i gave birth to my 2nd daughter also after a very difficult pregnancy that caused me to have a partial hysterectomy during an emergency c-section. i always wanted a big family & i do feel blessed for the 2 i have. however i have been looking into adoption ever since. i just found out that because of my medical records & other health issues, the department of human services will not allow me to adopt at all. just wanted to get it off my chest. thanks to anyone who listens.
