My boyfriend broke up with me after 5 months. I loved him but he stated that he didn't feel an emotional connection with me and also said that he doesn't feel "IT". I am perplexed and don't understand. Until the last two weeks it was all very good then noticed a certain cooling off. I am pretty perceptive about people so I know he was not cheating or being insincere. It's heartbreaking and I am just trying to understand. Everything reminds me of him but I know I will never have him back

I'm sorry :(. I've been on both sides of that so I kind of understand. But the reasons behind his feelings matter too. Try and talk to him openly about it? If he doesn't want to share or pursue a relationship with you - I say thats fine. The world is full of people and you're bound to find a better match.

There are plenty of fishes out there. When one door closes, another opens. If you cannot become emotionally detached from him and remove this dark cloud, then it's going to impede another man from coming into your life.

It's going to take a while to forget him. This is all part of falling in love - easy to fall in love, hard to let go.

Of the 6.7 billion people living in this world, one can only expect to encounter several million of them in a lifetime. And of those several million, only a few will have a very close connection with us. If you believe that we meet the people we meet because there's a deeper purpose, then it might just be that much easier to let go of your ex-boyfriend. By a deeper purpose, i mean: did he come into your life to make you a better person, to make you realize your flaws, or to help you through a tough time? A lot of times, people only stay in our lives temporarily and leave when their task is done (ex: to help us through a tough time). Your ex-boyfriend might have come into your life to better prepare for when you meet your soulmate, so that's something to be excited about!

Stay strong! Let your emotions out - cry if you want! Yell! Do anything but keep it inside you. And always remember, when one door closes, another opens!

Hello, I am sorry for your pain and hope that you are feeling better at this time.
Relationships go through the infatuation stage, that last from 6months to two years and then the real work begins and we see who the person really is  the good and the bad and sometimes one partner realizes this is not the relationship for them. Some relationships are meant to be short, a reason a season or a lifetime..try to find the lesson, the reason in this relationship.

We are in a time of great change, the energy of the planet it changing and moving rapidly. Relationships are breaking, jobs lost, people dying, as the energy speeds up, not all people are able to deal with the amount of light coming in and are willing to do the work it takes.

People who are not vibrating at your "vibrational level" will not be able to stay with you. What I am saying is there are many reasons why he broke this off.
Feel your pain, learn from it , grow from it and then allow it to leave your body... knowing that something even better is waiting for you as soon as you allow the space for it to come in.
