Believe me, I've been there...
As much as you may hate to hear this and without trivializing your situation, I can tell you that things will get better! Maybe not tomorrow, or next week, but sometime soon enough.
I've lived with depression for most of my life, and for the past several years, debilitating pain from degenerative disc disease and severe arthritis in my neck, shoulders and knees, but everyday, I force myself to find one thing that makes me smile. Sometimes you have to look around for awhile, but there are some pretty cool things left in this crappy world.
Me? Doodlebugs always make me laugh. I don't know why, they just do. I have a very decent book collection that reminds me that my life would be really crappy without books. Also, I have a cat that thinks he's a dog (I assume no explanation is necessary).
The point is that there are some things in your life that DO make you happy. The problem (with everyone) is that when really shitty things are happening in the world, we have a tendency to focus entirely on them and forget everything else.
Just try to look for the things that do make you smile and focus on them for awhile. Before you know it , your attitude will start to change.
Either that, or listen to a whole bunch of Yoko Ono music... your head will explode and your problems will be over.
