Merry Meet.

Ok,well today is going to be a really tough day.. My mother has to put her beloved best friend to sleep tonight and for some reason I am taking it quite badly.. I mean I always take it badly when any pet goes home but when its another persons then its a little different.. I'm struggling with the fact that yes this beautiful dog has cancer etc but she looks healthy.. You know what I mean? .. I can't get it through my head that she actually might be suffering on the inside.. She bit my mum about 5 times when my mum was putting her on the floor after a cuddle etc.. So that tells us she is in pain.. We went to see a good psychic of ours and what she said blew us away.. She said the dog wants to go home,she is tired and ready and wants to go while she is still with it.. As cancer is an aweful illness.. She also said not to feel guilty and one of my mums spirit guides will be waiting for her with a basket and a silk blanket to take her home,to guide her.. And another family dog is waiting for her also and will take care of her..

I still feel as we are murdering her,taking her right of life away.. The vet wanted to put her to sleep a long time ago as the cancer seemed to have spread  but we couldnt do it.. She does not act sick at all..  This is selfish to keep them because we are going to miss them and we love them? But my problem is I feel as though we are taking her life..

Anyway I dont know how I am going to get through this as I have had many sleepless nights.. I will miss her and I hope she will know why this has come about.. Does she know we love her,that she is a beautiful soul?.. I tried to put it off as long as I could but seems that it has come back around in a circle and her time is up to go home..

Sorry Im so long winded,got nowhere to vent about this.

Hugs to you!  I think it's the right thing to do.  Animals try to act like nothing is wrong, like being in pain, when really they are hurting.  My black lab was extremely hurting from liver failure.  I didn't even know it until it was too late.  I took him to the vet, he was skin and bones from not eating or drinking for 4 days.  He was hooked up to iv's but still wagging his tail when he saw me.  But he had this look in his eyes that I knew he was ready to go home.  It was the hardest thing for me to do because I felt like you, like I was taking his life.  Just know that you are doing the right thing.
