Hi to all again.  I introduced myself in the newbie section but here goes again....Im Jenny from NYC 26 years old.

I have been going through some issues with my boyfriend of 5 years.  We have been arguing alot and sometimes we cant stand each other.  He expressed to me that he believes we need time apart(we live together, for about 4 yrs and some months now).  We are not breaking up just not living together for a bit
I am so sad cause this is my home and I really dont want to leave but at the same time I feel he is right and this is what we both need.  We just recently started treatment for me to get pregnant and this is driving me crazy.

I really dont know what to do so confused.

I really really need a hug.

                 Big hugs to you and your boyfriend.  Sometimes a break away from your loved one does help.  Since it is your home you should not be the one to move, if you do decide to have a break away from your boyfriend.  Has your boyfriend given you reasons why he thinks you should have a break from him?

Hello there Jenny.....If you feel that you and your bf need some time apart also,not living together then perhaps its best too.....Maybe it will bring you two closer together and the fact you're arguing alot wont help matters....Sounds like you and he might be a little frustrated and maybe stressed?? A little alone time doesnt hurt anyone and if you two are just having some breathing space for a while then i think its best.....You say you and him have been living together for over 4yrs and been together for 5yrs....Go with  what you feel is best and maybe talk to him about it more.....But if he gets angry and starts to argue then it is time to just have a rest from things...You dont need all that sort of stress on your shoulders....Go with your feelings from within and trust your gut....I hope things smoothe over for you soon....*Huggles* and my love going your way....

Hey guys thanks!

Yea we moved in together when we had been together for about 6 months.  But these last couple of months havent been the greatest in the relationship.  I say it is my home cause it is the home we have both lived in together.  And it is hard for me to leave it even if it is for a little bit.  He feels that we need to give each other space cause if not we will end up breaking up.  He has told his friends that he knows he is going to miss me cause he loves me but he wants to be romantic again like he used to be and us arguing all the time is only going to push us away from each other even more.  I agree that we do need to give each other a break but Im scared to lose what I have with him (and my home I know its silly but I feel sad when I think of leaving)

I feel that I should leave and move in with a family member....but I dont believe the time we are going to be living apart is going to be that long.

I know its difficult to leave your home,have you asked him if he can move out? Perhaps it would be easier for him to?
Sometimes a break can do wonders and makes a relationship stronger....If he wants to be like he was,more romantic etc sounds like he knows the relationship is lacking something....So a freah new outlook sounds like the go......Of course he will miss you,i dont think it will be easy for him to be apart from you....Same with you....But maybe like you say it wont be for long...Once he has sorted himself out and both of you do feel fresh and better about things then you two will be able to sort out the arguing part of things also and see whats really the matter...Stress and worry can play a huge part in arguing....Everyone argues but when it takes over the whole relationship nearly then its bad........I hope things get easier for you soon.
