I have in the last 4 months lost 2 cars. We still have one. I just hope it holds out till we can afford a 2nd one. Then my cell phone messed up. Not a  real bad thing but cannot use it except for stored numbers. 2 buttons are dead.  Trying to get my wife on medicaid?? Oh please let me catch up. I pay my utility bill with  the cutoff notices. God just let me rest a while. But just a hug will do. So sorry for others who have it worse.

I hear you.  Sometimes it seems as if everything breaks down all at once.  (And, as someone with no health insurance at the moment, I can sympathize with the Medicaid thing--and I know your wife has been ill.  It's very scary.)

But it does seem that when everything goes completely haywire, there usually comes a time afterwards when things go very well again.  Just try to roll with it--panicking, or feeling defeated, will only make that time take longer to arrive.  Do what you can for yourself, and your wife, and anyone you come in contact with.  I've developed a strong belief in karma, and I don't believe you always have to wait a long time for good things to come back to you.

i have been fighting Medicaide for 2 years for my kids.
I am a single mom with 4 teens. I rob Peter to pay Paul evey month.
I know where your coming from.
My kids needs are preventive, I am very sorry your wifes are not.
Some of my stuff is cut off before I ever get to pay it.

I volenteer more hours, for my kids, then I should. I should have 3 jobs.
I just don't have the time. It always works out though.

I will give you a hint that I know works, I just don't have the time, yet.
The squeeky wheel gets the oil.
The more you call and bitch, the more they will help you to shut you up.
If you have time, call 3 times a day.
They will dread the thought of you calling, and will help you just to shut you up!!!
