Don't get me wrong,  I love my friends!  We have been together through just about everything you can think of.  But, whenever I need to talk to someone, it always seems their life is more insane or messed up than mine.  For example,  I talked to one of my friends yesterday. This is what she told me. Her aunt died just after the New Year and her cousin lost her marbles because of it and stole a car and took off.  No one knew where she was.  She called my friend and told her that she had been suicidal, but had gotten help and was ok, but wouldn't say where she was at.  At the same time,  the graduate school messed up my friend's paperwork and by the time they straigtened it out it was too late to start classes.  And that's only about half of it.  So when I get off the phone with her, not only do I not feel better, I feel guilty for feeling bad when she has so many more problems!  It just seems like there is no one I can talk to who does not have more issues than I do. Sheesh.  I need a hug.

Take care of yourself and don't take on your friends stuff.  It's cool to listen, just don't wear it or add it to your own stuff you need to take out and let go of.
It was neat of you to listen and never feel guilty for your life and how you are feeling about it.  Altho sometimes we get to say, "there but for the grace of God go I".  We get to be grateful.

Dont feel  guilty,you listened and were there for her....But you have to be there for yourself to and work thru your own issues........Its hard not to get caught up in others problems and then you end up putting yourself last etc....But never feel your problems arent as bad as your friends because they seem worse or whatever it may be.If things affect you then,your life then they need to be worked out also....

I sometimes feel alone,i try to help everyone and when i need a hand or shoulder people are to busy with their stuff.....I guess thats just the way it is at times because maybe they deal with things differently and feel im stronger to help them.I say to myself,well they're having a worse time then i am,they have bigger issues.....But in the end i get more stuck as what i need help with doesnt get sorted....I do thank life for being kinder to me than others tho,i feel lucky.

Well a great hug to you.Sometimes i feel same.i cannot find someone to talk truely about my feelings.but you must be grateful your life is not so tupsy turvy.Many time the way people want to see their life, it turns out the same.
you should be also grateful that you are able to help your frends by having a simplelovely life yourself.If it woudn't have been like this then you wouldn't been able to be there strongly for them.
