My ex has been basically out of work for a year now, think he worked maybe a month or so in that time.  Also has no health ins on the kids.  The county has been taking his taxes and such, but he is behind nearly 2000 dollars again and has decided to take me to court to get a lower child support payment instead of going out and getting a job.  I calculated what they could lower it to on a website for that, with 2 children, $50 a month.  My youngest hates spending time with him, and I'm just so sick of dealing with him and being the nice guy...I guess I need a hug...

BIG HUG for you....I know the feeling....I have been battling my exhusband for a while now.....sometimes you just have to just face the fact that some people just are deadbeats and aren't capable of doing the right thing....live your life and do the best you can for your children.  He is already digging a whole for himself and it is manifesting in the way the children respond to him.....sometimes you have to focus on yourself and do the best that you can.....accept those things which you cannot control and it will lift alot of stress off your heart and your mind.  Blessing to you and yours.

Thank you kindly  I know I should live for me and my children and let go of what I cannot control, I guess I was just at wits end.  Seems like things keep going downhill and that "surprise" letter from the court telling me what was going on was I guess my last straw.  I suppose I shouldn't have been surprised, dealing with him at all since I left him has been difficult.  Hopefully the sun will shine a little brighter in our lives, and all of yours.

My dad was a deadbeat as well but i was lucky Mum met a man who when on to be the best dad ive had in 5 generations of soul traveling. Theres always hope and happiness to come to you
