I think I need more than a hug? I suffer from anxiety attacks and I am taking medication for it and havent had one in a long time. But, last night I was asleep and I felt something evil crawl into my bed. I am not sure if I was asleep or awake but I couldn't breath and I was trying to call out for help but I couldn't get any words out. I felt the evil presence holding me down. I started to pray and asked GOD to protect me from this evil spirit which I then I woke up. This didn't feel like no panick attack! Any words of advice out there. Something that I can put near my bed or something?

A Big Grandpa hug to you...anxiety is not a good thing to live with....and I know from own experience how our brain can make any illusion or thought real.

This not said because of your "evil experience but more how it can manipulate our life with anxiety and phobias of different kind.

I once heard that when you have a feeling like that, it is more like an outter-body exprience.  So the heaviness you felt may have been you leaving your own body.

I'm not sure if that helps any, but it may put your mind at ease a bit.

With much concern, love, and consideration, I would suggest to you that it may an idea to speak with your psychatrist about the paranoia, especially if you have exprienced paranoia in any other situations.  And again, with much consideration i suggest this in a effort to explore all angles of this situation.

For starters, you sure do need a hug... and  a big one too (((HUG)))I agree that you need more than a hug... You need to understand that you are not the only one who experiences this. You are not alone.... This same thing has happened to me and many others.  Very freaky indeed. There are similar concerns in other threads on this forum.  I will look for them ... and post the links here for you.
