I lost my purse somewhere friday afternoon, been all weekend looking for it, but can't seem to find it. I have asked at the library, and the bus terminal...(even though I know I had it when I got home).

Please help if you can.

I don't think I know where you put it, but I will send you a big hug, and if you relax a little it will come to you where you put it.
I often misplace things too, and then later I remember where I put them.

This only emphasises the sad fact that many of us (myself included) spend a great portion of our lives running on automatic.

I assume that the front door keys were in your purse, so that you do know with absolute certainty that you had your purse when your entered the house.

Since we have established beyond a shadow of a doubt that the purse was with you when you arrived home Friday, it is either somewhere in your home or has since been removed either by yourself or alternately by someone else (or do you have any pets) with whom you are living.

I am always having to make lists for almost everything these days, and find that recreating the circumstances by backtracking to the scene of the crime so to speak can often serve as a valuable memory peg for jogging the old grey matter.

My impressions are that the purse and hopefully any keys that it once contained are still somewhere in your house, although I am wondering whether they might have become separated at the time you threw them down after coming in. Do you still have the original front door key from your purse?

Where in your home do you usually put or throw down your purse when first entering your home? I intuitively feel that it is hidden behind soft furnishing such as for example pillows or cushions on a bed or lounge suite, rather than on a solid table or floor where you would probably find it easier to locate.
