I am gay...as most of you know, and so my family is totally against it because they have no ability to look at things differently. So...if they find out (which they are getting closer and closer to doing) then they will kick me out of the house. Please help me!!! If you could give me some positive energy or a psyhich reading then that would be awesome! Much needed as well. Thank you! Have a good day.

Hi BritishFish - so sorry to hear about your predicament ... I believe that each and everyone of us should have the freedom to be who we are and who we want to be. It is so difficult to live up to other people's expectations, particularly when they are totally opposed to your own beliefs.

However, I temper this by acknowledging your tender years - no matter how mature you are - you, at the moment, have to rely on the family for somewhere to live. I know a 17 year old in England who is a pagan but, as far as her family are concerned, she is a practising Christian - she will be leaving home in a year's time to go to University and then she will have the opportunity to be totally herself.

I am sending you one of my HUGE hugs, along with some Reiki (following your teaching) - hope it helps a little.

It must be hard to be in your shoes.
I didn't know you were gay and it doesn't matter to me one way or another....

But, I am sorry to admit that there was a time in my past that I wouldn't have
said this. Us old-timers are from a different generation, when gays stayed in the
closet. I have had to re-think my thoughts and it was the youth of today who
showed me that I was wrong. Very wrong. I have no idea how to change the way
your family is thinking though... Good luck to you

until you are strong enough and ready to make this disclosure.

At age 14.... this is a hard situation you are in.
If asked, I don't think you need to respond with a yes or a no.
