It hurts I know to be rejected in this way.

Someone else will come along and, in the meantime, be your own best friend i.e.l treat yourself to something nice just for you, show love for yourself and soon the pain of this will be a thing of the past.
How about a nice massage? or a foot treatment/manicure?
