As I get older, I am finding it harder and harder to maintain my weight. I exercise at least 5 days a week, and try to eat mindfully, but I have a powerful sweet tooth that thwarts my efforts to attain my goal of losing 15 pounds.
I am considering using self
hypnosis as a tool to help me maintain better eating habits, but I am unsure what to expect from the practice. Is it possible for me to suggest to myself while under self hypnosis that I no longer like sweets or candy? That they will taste bad if I eat them? Or is that "addiction" too powerful to overcome by a simple hypnotic suggestion? I also was wondering if I could give myself the suggestion that I would feel full after eating just an apple or protein bar, or once again is the hunger impulse too strong to be overcome by a simple hypnotic suggestion?
Thank you in advance for any enlightenment you can share with me on this subject.
