I am in the process of using a couple of hypnosis mp3s. (yes, its by Kelly Howell) At night I listen to Sacred Body. During the day I will listen to another of her weight loss recordings. I also like to listen to her Power Training recordings. Slim naturally is great too. (Its a 4 to 6 week program that you must stick to.)
What I have learned;
Positive thinking is the foundation of hypnosis
The Secret, Abraham's teachings through the Hicks, and Louise Hay teachings are a damn good foundation.
Hypnosis talks to a part of our mind that we don't seem to reach because of our rebellious attitudes. ;o)
I can do anything, if I believe I can. (And I do)
Have I lost weight? Yes. Have I changed up my diet? Not really. Am I more active? I would say I'm about the same.
Am I still in the process of losing weight? Yup.
Why?
Because my mind now tells me I can. I now tell myself I am perfect just the way I am. I don't want food to console, I don't need consoling. I don't want food 'cause I am bored, 'cause I'm to busy with other things that I love to do.
Its changing the mind set verbally, mentally & physically and weight loss subliminal's, guided hypnosis, or teachings do help. I am a walking example of this change. ;o)
I'm not saying diet and exercise is a thing of the past! I would lose weight faster if I got on my health walker twice a day. Combining all the above things are the ticket. For right now, I am doing great. But will do better when I insert into my schedule, an exercising routine!

I am using the wt loss with subliminal and it is working
your subconscious is a very powerful tool if you just tap into it.

There could be multiple reasons why a person is overweight. It could be an inner void which he or she is trying to suppress and then resort to overeating.
Some people after being extremely stressed in office resort to eating a heavy meail immediately after assuming that they are hungery whereas it is due to the buildup of stress which the body brings out as hunger.
Another reason could be an adult always pinpointing not to eat much and that you had the tendency to grow fat. This will be absorbed by the subconcious mind as a fact and then deeply ingrained as a reality.
The therapist will have to identify the reason behind it and then heal the person rather than just passing affirmation which will not help.
