Background: Me and Kenny have been friends for over 2 years. During the past 3 months our frienship deepened and we have spent a great deal of time together however there has not been anything romantic between us. We have discussed it and made plans that seem to fall through or when they do pan out, it remains on a friendly level.  There seems to be something in the way but I can't put my finger on it.  Both of us are in our mid 40's (Me 45 and he is 44) and have been married and divorced several times.

I have studied astrology in depth for 13 years and specialize in relationship astrology (both synastry and composite) but have never been successful with Horary.  I would love to have the answer to this question for myself but just can't seem to understand and have not been successful in previous attempts to get it right.  I posted on another board and noone has replied.  Can someone help?

The attached chart is the casting for the time of the question.  It was cast at 8:50 p.m. CST in Baytown, TX.

I am represented by Mars in Libra (detriment) in the 7th. The Quisited is respresented by Venus in Libra in the 7th. Does Via Combusta apply to any planet or just the moon in Horary?

They are in a separating conjunction. He is separating from me.

The Moon gives translation of light and is the 5th.

The 4th house is intercepted by Cancer. Is this significant?

I also read somewhere:

If the 7th ruler is located in the 7th house, the person asked about has little thought of the querent, especially if exalted or in its own sign.

That is true of this chart!  Venus is the ruler of the 7th house and is located there as well as being in it's own sign.  However since both planets are there an in a separating conjuction with translation of light from the moon, is this still applicable?

I originally read this this as me pursuing a relationship with him and he is not interested in anything more. Due to the separating aspect between Venus and Mars in the 7th and also the statement above. I do not know how to interpret the translation of light from the moon.  Is this my son?

There are so many differing opinions on Horary depending on who you read.  Lilly vs. Frawley among other newer astrologers.  Difficult for me to interpret.

Any comments or suggestions?

Oops - typo the correct lattitude is 44.38N  29 is around San Antonio which is not close to here at all.   We are in Harris County just outside of Houston.

If someone can help me post a chart from Astro.com I will be more than happy to do so without paying for the PDF.  Just having some trouble getting a good graphic that is within the acceptable limits.
