Question: Will the man I've fallen in love with come back into my life, as he was before?

I don't even know where to begin to explain the question. I work in a small office (7 people). Earlier this year, at the suggestion of a friend, I started to get to know someone I work with. As I got to know more about this person, and vice versa, we started to spend time together on weekends and sometimes after work. The bond grew very strong. I fell for this man head over heels, and to this day, I still feel the same for him.  Things changed one day, on the day I returned to work following surgery for a biopsy. That day, he wouldn't look at me or talk to me, and to this day, I do not know why. I don't know what happened. This is someone I have to see every day, Monday through Friday, and it is literally killing me. I'm crying right now as I type this, because I miss him dearly. Will he ever come back into my life, as he was before?
