Unfortunatelly, I was not right! Result for this race:

1 Nelson's Spice 7/1
2 Maljimar 7/2

I must admit that Nelson;s colors also fits with this placement of Su(gold) in Li(green and white). Nelson's Spice surelly better fits (by assosiation) for placement Su in 7 house, than 3 Mirrors. But I did not was co clever to notice that!

I reviewed my notes on betting in terms of sports and
mostly they are for two opponents... which is real good
for astrology. In horse races one usually has multiple
horses and the problem is which house belongs to
which horse.... which is kind of why I think the colors
come into the picture for your argument fensi...

The idea being that the natural zodiac ( Western that is )
starts at Aries and runs around to Pisces in the 12th.
Then say its Leo which naturally is associated with the
5th house - so gold or yellow would be its color.

Is it possible we can try someother betting where there
are only two opponents like cricket, baseball or any two
team or two player are more easily resolved.

Part of Sophia Mason book has rules for this approach
divided into gambling resolved by diurnal charts and
gambling done purely by the single event chart of the
start of the game. If the game is delayed then use the
actual start.

So for example, using purely single event chart, we would
take first to 6th houses as ruling the home team with
emphasis on first and fourth houses and the away team
uses 7th to 12 th houses with emphasis on 7th and 10th house.

The idea is if the home team has more aspects to the first
and fourth then home team wins. If away team has more
aspects to the 7th and 10th then away team wins.

There is more to this but not much more. For example
we can include rulers of the first and 4th for the home team
as against just the straight houses. and for away team
the rulers of the 7th and 10th rather than just the houses.
This is a refinement though and first we should see if this will
work.

Any suggestions for a game to look at ? :)

Thaks for this explanation, plain and simple I understand it. I heard for the first time for that. In J Frawleys book he use 1st  and 10th(successs)  for ASC team and 7 and 4 (turned 10) for DSC team. Here it is probably 1 and 4 house used as end of game for one team or ?
When you put home team on ASC, problem is when we have more matches at same time in one town, according to that rule in all matches, for example, home team would win, but that is not the case. That is why I do not use that method, I place teams according to color of their sport kit becuse ASC or DSC for another team is connected with appearance, but I have not 100% accuracy still, but have best results in compare to other methods .
Of course I will try the  method you explain, with my placement of teams. Thanks for sharing that with me.

fensi I doubt anything will be 100% correct.

It would be interesting to consider in a two team game
that each team has a "new natal" chart at the start
of the season.

then for each team on the day of the game ( thats
two charts ) run a chart for the day of the game
but the "new natal time's and new natal place from
the start of the season" - which is the diurnal.

Compare the strength of the two charts by
for example comparing each teams ascendant
and ascendant ruler. Whichever is stronger should win.

Oh, this method could be worth to try, because in this method we have no doubt "who is who". But I must wait next season to start researh. If you have some example please post.
And thanks for this idea!
