I'm involved in a lawsuit and would like to know when and if I'll get any money from this lawsuit.

This is a good question and worded well ..
the problem is you did not include the date,
place and time you asked the question "most
pertinently and sincerely".

Perhaps something like this?

"I'm involved in a lawsuit and would like to know when and if I'll get any money from this lawsuit.

Aug 6th 2009 at 1:28 pm
in New York"

I am just taking the time stamp the server applies
for New York but the question really needs to be
dated, timed and placed for where you are and
when you actually worded it.

If that information is still available I am sure
the question may be answered :)
