The recommendation here (and elsewhere) for patients' prospective use of "homeopathic combination remedies" (elixirs that combine several different homeopathic remedies with the ambition of synergizing together their dispirit therapeutic effects) are misguided at best, and frauds at worse.
A prospective remedy for an ill person isn't "homeopathic" for the patient because of it's content, or the way it's prepared, but rather because it's proven experienced "symptom picture" most closely resembles the ailment (this similarity is the root of the word "homeopathy"... "likes cure likes").
The practice in these "combination remedies" is to make a logical extrapolation that if remedy A treats illnesses 1, 2 & 3, and remedy B treats illnesses 4, 5 & 6... then if we combine remedies A & B, we'll have a substance that treats ailments 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 & 6. Seems simple, right?
The big problem here, however, is that once combined, this new substance is neither remedy A or B... it's something entirely new & different, the nature of which is NOT KNOW OR PROVEN.
The way a substance becomes known as a potentially "homeopathicly useful" remedy is through a large community involved effort to "prove" the substance - A large group of healthy volunteers "take" the remedy until they start experiencing symptoms of reactions... it's these reactions that become the basis of our understanding of the substances prospective therapeutic effects.
Combination remedies don't go through the necessary discipline of this approach, and instead do that simple 1 + 2 + 3, etc, addition. Combination remedies have never been homeopathically proven and their effects on patients (good or bad) are materially unknown!
If the combination remedies offered anywhere do anything for patients, this reaction is very likely due to a "placebo" effect... which also, of course, can be a very useful therapeutic tool...
But really! Don't call this "homeopathy"!!
