the first of all, you should find the source of the pain it self
and i think you should give ur self a moment of relaxation... it helps to reduce the pain

Reiki usually helps with relaxation and speeds up healing time, which usually also reduces pain... Qi Gong works very similar. I have found that breathing techniques also make a difference. If pain comes in waves, slooooowly exhale through your mouth when the pain comes, inhale deep through your nose when it subsides... breathed my way through child labor twice without drugs that way, by choice, and I am not talking LaMaze. Sometimes a hot bath with Epsom salt helps; or certain tinctures like mint oil and menthol oil. It totally depends on the type of pain. Certain herbal teas can also help with pain...
Headaches can be caused by dehydration or caffeine withdrawal or lack of other nutrients, besides stress. I usually take some vitamin C, drink 1-2+ glasses of water and if all that doesn't work, have a cup of coffee, tea or caffeinated soda. Magnesium supplements seem to help, too....
