i'm not sure why this keeps happening but my pinky finger and my ring finger  the tips of them have gone numb, i can feel pain and touch but its a numb feeling that i cant really describe. its been happening for months now and even cant squeeze my hand around anything too hard because it wont do it, i work at a job where i have to lift boxes of shoes and luggage(sometimes the luggage has 5 things in it) so i'm not sure if i somehow damaged the nerves in my hand somehow. anybody got any advice on this?

It never hurts to take it up with your doctor.  Maybe they will be able to shed some light on it

Be sure and move around at the computer.  Your hand arm and shoulder.  It's important to not do too much repetitive stuff at a time.  There are web site what can give you exercises to do to keep your hands and arms and shoulders healthy in the world of doing things over and over and over.

Could be either RPI or carpal tunnel syndrome, the nerve that runs up the carpal tunnel in your wrist affects the little,ring and 1/2 the middle fingers, have you been on a severe diet lately or altered what you eat?
My bet is carpal tunnel syndrome, I have it in both hands and I do sympathise, makes holding a drink very interesting, wish I wore waterproof trousers sometimes.
Normally CTS is due to an injury on the palm (as tourbi says move your hands on the computer), it could be work related and you are far to young to start losing the fat around nerve sheath unless you've lost a lot of weight.

well currently the only thing  i do is work(3 times sometimes 2 days a week) and go on the internet and honestly right now my fingers seem to be fine, its just strange
