Asthma Relief: Seek a local apiarist who works with pollen traps. Hang one under your eaves and take to the apiarist to be added to each new container of honey.
A swollen labrynth system will respond to dried Ginger. Slice ginger about the size of 5 cent pieces, spread on a tray and place in a slightly warm oven over night. Put dry slices into an air tight tin or jar.. and use in place of cough lozenges.
Barley Water or Broth make a wonderful cleanse for kidneys. Cooked with onion and chicken bones and herbs to flavour, then cooled and strained for broth. Or cooked alone, (with strained stewed pears added for young children) or mixed with apple or apricot or prune (or other fruit pulp) for older children, or just add lemon and/or orange juice as a cordial..
Brain Food: As we age, men and women alike, not only do we continue to amass more knowledge but some of what we learn (and do not continually use) must be stored at the back of our memory (like a computer disc) ready to be restored when the need arises (often disconcertingly hidden along with other hard learned lessons!) Experts say ageing of the brain might be slowed considerably if we take up another language (or become computer-literate.. if the brain doesn't fracture first!) Some foods helpful to our lessening ability to manufacture Bromine: Apples. Asparagus. Avacado. Carrots. Celery. Cucumber. Garlic. Melons. Mushrooms. Parsnips. Peaches. Tomatoes.
Dry Skin: Salt for some will not only dry the skin, (along with walls of veins and arteries) it can also dry out our thought process to some degree and Celery for some (a natural diuretic) has been known to have a similar effect. A tablespoon of Olive Oil in a salad every day will help reverse the trait.. along with a course of Dr Schuessler's Biochemic Cell (Mineral) Salts "Natrum Phos."
Food For Thought: If you do not eat meat, (not a vegetarian.. there is a difference and they are many) but find yourself unexpectedly craving a juicy steak or steaming roast (knowing the pain your body will suffer next day!) you might care to try a Hydrochloric acid tablet a half hour or so before the meal.
If you have a Liver problem which announces it's agony sometime around mid afternoon, try taking a 20 minute walk, followed by a warm drink of Honey lemon and Ginger, then a bath as hot as the body will allow. Should the pain not subside, the Cell Salt Kali Mur. can often help. One ten minutes apart for a maximum of four tablest.. which may be repeated when and if necessary an hour or so later.
If you love Corn and Corn does not reciprocate the affection, try the Call Salt Calc Fluor (Fluoride of Lime) One tablet a half hour or so before your meal and one after it. According to Dr David Pillips in his book From Soil to Psyche. Corn in the European diet should be cooked with limestone.
If you suffer the agony of migraine, the Cell Salt Mag Phos. will often help if taken at the first sign of those tiny flickering squares or lights or fleeting wave of nausea.. and you might investigate the possibility of their cause being an allergy to certain food.. which will usually present in your numerology chart.
Lettuce can be made into a poultice to ease an aching limb.. or steamed and the juice enough to relax the mind and body to allow a good night's sleep plus it's a good source of calcium, folic acid, iron and silicon.
Mashed potato for one with dairy allergy: Add a well beaten egg instead of butter and milk
Most foods can be frozen.. most can be thawed in a microwave.. but care needs to be taken with mould which will form on warm food with in forty minutes of cooking and in a fridge, with in eight hours! While freezing might take away some of the nutrition, it at least helps keep the mucus level in our bodies at bay
Nettle rash or Insect stings: Cover the area with a thick paste of Carb Soda made with a little water.. or, if the affected area is very swollen, add a few tablespoons to a tepid bath. (always have the water slightly warm so the area will not succumb to further shock)
Outer leaves of Spinach Broccoli or Cabbage crushed in the hand and placed direct to the skin and covered with a warm cloth will offer most pain suffers quite some relief. (Most success seems to be with cabbage, which can be pretty smelly and needs changing several times a day.. one client actually put a `cabbage patch' over her hip area, and is able to walk easily around her local shopping mall! Something she had not been able to do for years!)
Parsley: While a natural deodorant for many a body, there are some in whom it will create a painful stomach Ulcer. A week or so on the 'old fashioned' 4 steamed vegie diet (patato, pumpkin or carotts, beans or one of the other greens such as cauliflower or cabbage, and suede or parsnip) with white sauce or gravy made from the vegetable water, will work wonders.
Red Meat: While it might be an important source of iIron for some, for others, (especially when we age and the intensity of excercise or hard work have decreased) the same intake can cause anxiety often leading to arthritis. Not so with white meat.. and a diet rich in fish or olives or oilive oill or avacados will reduce much of the body's stress and tension. If necessary, a natural supplement of Iron may be obtained through the Cell Salt Ferrum Phos.
Reduce Blood Pressure, Cholesterol, Glaucoma: . 1 Desert spoon of Oat Bran, 1 of Psyllium Husks and 1 of Lecithin mixed together in juice or cereal or soup three times a day for several weeks is wonderful for reducing Blood Ppressure, Cholesterol and Glaucomal and is of great benefit in correcting adverse bowel conditions.
Sesame Seeds are a great relaxant. One or two desert spoons sprinkled over the evening meal (for children over the age of 5)
Sinus. Tinitis. Meniere's. Neuralgia. A Yoga exercise to release the build up of fluid in the head. Place the base of both hands at the base of the skull with about an inch between both thumbs. Exert very slight pressure with the thumbs, then tap all fingers, (from small to index) against the skull for several minutes at a time. May be repeated hourly if pressure persists. Again, Schuessler's Cell (Mineral) Salts will benefit this condition. Natrum Mur. distributes water throughout the body and Natrum Sulph. regulates it.
Sunburn: A warm bath with a handful of Carb Soda added or a few Tea Bags (any brand) will soon ease the heat.
Water for Tea or Coffee: Should never be drawn from the hot water pipe, (the sediment from these pipes can cause pain in or around the heart, and while not a heart condition per se, can often cause as much distress and is elusive to diagnose..) always clear the pipe first and when boiled, should be left to stand a minute before pouring into pot or mug. If making a pot of tea, this should be allowed to stand for three minutes and then transferred to another pot, minus the leaves as they hold too much tannin for the human body to absorb..
A Recipe for General Well Being:
Breakfast.
2 Tumblers of warm water.
1 Apple.
9 Almonds.
Vegetable Juice, (warmed) with 2 teaspoons each of Lecithin, Psyllium Husks, Oat or Barley Bran.
2 slices multi grain toast, margarine, honey.
Mug of sliced Ginger with Lemon and a desertspoon of Honey and water just off the boil.
Lunch:
Salad. 2 desertspoons Grape Seed Oil (clears Cholesterol like nothing I have known) 2 of crushed nuts (not peanuts, they're a little too fatty) and 1 desertspoon of Sesame Seeds (more calcium than you would believe) lettuce zucchini, tomato (an apple a day keeps the doctor away a tomato a day keeps the body at play) capsicum, sliced carrot (easy with a potato peeler) cauliflower, broccoli, sprouts, (never heat sprouts as they can become quite toxic) add seasoning and alternate each day with pasta or potato or barley (great for kidney and bladder) Dice potato and microwave for several minutes while you are preparing your salad. Pasta can be cooked similarly. Barley and rice can be cooked and frozen as can the barley water until you are making soup or a stew. If you are not a vegetarian, you might like to add chicken or fish.. and twice a week a chopped hard boiled egg.
Have a tumbler of water before your meal and a mug of Ginger, Honey and Lemon after.
Diner:
Soup. (Cooked in advance.. recipe below) Lettuce sandwich (helps settle mind/body for sleep) Banana (could be taken earlier in the day if not a suitable evening food.
A mug of Ginger, Honey and Lemon.
Recipe for Vegetable Juice:
1 kilo of carrots. A small beetroot (about the size of a golf ball, the toxins released by beetroot can often be too difficult for the Liver to cope with in large amounts.) 2 Pears. 2 Apples. 2 Parsnips. (Do not add celery. On a pure diet it can be too drying. It's a natural diuretic.)
Recipes for Soup: (1)
4 Cups diced potato, (with or without the skin) 4 cups peeled and diced pumpkin. 2 cups diced onion. 1 cup barley. Seasoning to taste. (perhaps powdered Ginger or lemon pepper and/or curry etc.) Bring to the boil slowly and simmer for 45 minutes. Blend. Add a cup or two of milk, then pour into meal size portions and place in the freezer. (Finely cut vegetables could be added when thawed, and cooked for 5 minutes or so.. or.. the soup could be used as a first course, and a small salad with a piece of fish or chicken to follow..)
(2) Ingredients as above. Add a small head of cabbage or half a large. A small head of cauliflower or half a small. Capsicum. A can of peeled tomato (if you wish) Carrot. Parsnip. Desertspoon of ginger. Desertspoon of chilli paste and, when the soup (or stew, which ever you prefer!) has cooled a little. add half a pack of frozen peas and corn. Do not blend but store in meal size containers in the freezer.
Ginger, Lemon & Honey. Slice ginger in rounds and freeze. Slice lemons in eigths and freeze. 1 slice of lemon and 4 rounds of ginger will make four or five mugs for three or four days. For those with a 'fatty' liver add a heaped desertspoon of natural honey (from an apiarist) to each mug. Strict adherence of the above diet (minus all meat) and the no 1 soup for eight or nine months will rid the liver of that fat.
I would like to request all readers to follow these health tips which i have collected , and make use of them , and i wish, it should be forwarded to your near and dear ones
with love
