Here in Oregon we have the death with dignity act that has been in the news lately, cuz they are trying to take away our state's right's..... I won't get into that....
I believe that if you have an advanced directive that tells your family what you want if you are in a coma, or on life support that it is your choice. I have seen the suffering of many and hope I go quick. Really I have to ask the question...if your dog or cat or bird is suffering what do you do? Do we let them suffer until they die, no we usually "put them out of thier misery", this may sound harsh and I was raised Catholic but please..... put me out of my misery. I don't want to be remembered as I would be on my death bed.... I think Quality of life is much more important than Quantity. I feel that I am a pretty spiritual person, I believe in God.... am not affiliated with any religion...and to be quite frank don't even know why I have faith. But I do....
On another note: I have actually never wondered about the Karmic aspect of euthanasia.... may have to mull that one over...

yes, i agree with you, but i always believe that hope must be the last one to die. I know that it finally dies too, but maybe you could save that person/or animal

ya i agree about animals... like horses hat fall down and are heart, we dont think twice about putting thme down, becoz we know nothing can be done more for the poor animal. i also agree, we should always keep our hope alive.. but then that too needs something to go on right?
