dorian i suggest you just give up... i really really look up to your perserverence but at the same time find it a bit... dumb... to be honest.
on the first day i saw this, i tried cracking my head about it for a hour or so WITHOUT any clues, using what i already knew abt riddles...
riddles are usually very complicating, but the answer is always, or most of the time, a word any kid can figue out, a simple word everyone knows, not some long scientific word or some super rare word.
during that hour i did trail n error, fitting every letter that would fit it, but came up with nothing, then i gave up, already thinking this is some trick question... then i went to search on google for some word finder... word finder doesn't find any word. then i went to different sites that have the same riddle, all no answer.
hey but i did come up with an answer that doesn't fit the clue.
Oranges!!! because they keep fisherman scurvy free, children eating candy with its flavour, and because they keep people healthy, so doctors hate them. : )
there, that's a word you know.
