A is for Alternative Medicine such as Acupuncture, Chiropractice, Herbalism and Homeopathy.
Acupuncture is an ancient Chinese art involving the stimulation of points on the surface of the body by inserting needles. According to philosophy, acupuncture works by harmonizing the vital energy forces.
Chiropractors use manipulation to stimulate the nerves and the organs they supply, thus encouraging the body's self healing processes to move into action.
Herbalism is the practice of curing illness by only using plants and herbs in comparison with chemically made drugs used in allopathic medicine. Herbalism is no modern day fad_ in the years before chemically based drugs were invented our forefathers treated themselves with nature's own remedies.
Homeopathy is a system of medicine which believes in treating like with like. It is a complete system of medication which aims to reinforce the body's natural healing capacity.
A is also for Vitamin A, found in eggs, cheese, liver, carrots and other vegetables. It is essential for fighting against deficiency diseases and is also recommended for healthy eye care.
Also under A is aloe, which is used in certain natural medicines and is highly popular today as an ingredient in a range of skin care products such as body lotions and moisturising creams.

B is for vitamin B, essential for many of the body's vital functions. Vitamin B complex aids the reproductive system and the Vitamin B alone helps those with scalp conditions. It also assists the functions of the digestive system.
C The sunshine vitamin, Vitamin C, assists healthy body functions and many swear it as a precaution against cold and flu. Vitamin C cannot be retained by the body_ however we absorb as much as we want, then flush away the rest, thus overdosing on C isn't going to make an awful lot difference to your health.
C is also for cucumber_ useful for refreshing, soothing and combating oily skin. If you suffer from tired or sore eyes, simply refresh them with cucumber. Simply cut a slice for each eye, lie back, place the cucumber over the eyelid and feel the cool cucumber sooth out that fatigue.
D is for Vitamin D, which again promotes healthy growth of the body's vital functions. Found in oil based substances and directly through halibut liver oil and cod liver oil. Dark circles under the eyes? Put some potato pulp in a muslin cloth and place on closed eyes for ten minutes everyday. Gives eyes a clearer look and makes them feel great
