I take some sense of comfort from knowing that although I missed your actual birthday by just over 42 years (although I was in my final year of high school at the time, and humans first walked on the moon on July the 20th of the very same year), I only missed congratulating you on the anniversary of that momentous event by all of three days. Better late than never?
I looked at your age (surely you could not be that young), and it only made me feel more like an old dinosaur, when compared to how I felt before.
Gee thanks loads for doing that!
But seriously now, what follows is a somewhat belated birthday greeting for someone whom I have come to have great admiration and respect for, and whom it is my privilege to be able to number amongst my closest internet friends.
