This describes a 6 year rhythm in our life. This table divides each 6-year period in 6 phases, the first year being the year of sowing, the second of taking root, etcetera (see below).
It seems that this cyclic division applies not only to the generic lifecycle of human beings but also to companies, organizations etcetera. Because Western Astrology works with 12 phases in a cycle (the zodiac being 12 signs of an unfolding cycle), it makes sense to place the first 6 signs in the first 6 years, which generally refer to personal development (Aries to Virgo) and the second series of 6 years to the next 6 signs, which generally refer to social development.
