I read somewhere before "You should always kiss with your eyes closed, because the best things in life are unseen.".

Im on the fence with this one. It does have a poetic feel to it which I can respect. Also it gives those of us who do keep our eyes closed a good excuse:) Also, in my own opinion, some of the best things in life are unseen.

But the man I share my love with now makes me want to keep my eyes open all the time (sort of an Aerosmith 'Don't Want To Miss A Thing' situation). I have tried to kiss him with my eyes closed and I always end up peeking:)

I guess what I'm getting at is that I would love to hear from fellow members. Tell me about a quote or saying you have been undecided about. Or you can simply express your thoughts on this quote. I will very much enjoy reading any responses! Thank you!

Now coming to first post on this thread.  I wish to modify "You should always kiss with your eyes closed, because the best things in life are unseen.".

'The best things in life are free.'
Hmmm are they?
I love the sound of the skylarks singing their hearts out in the almost deserted sand dunes where I live.
Are they free?  
Well, to live in the village cost 25% more than the nearest town so unless you live here you have to travel - not free.
The council tax is higher, we have no supermarket only a corner shop so that costs more, so you need reasonable income to live here.
Is anything worth having truly without cost, financial,emotional or other?

I definitely disagree that the "best things" in life are unseen. It is unseen until you decide it to be "seen" .

Gotta keep your eyes open! ;)
